Smoked and Smashed


1 ½ ounces Wisher Beet Vodka
½ cup blackberries
½ ounce maple syrup
1 ounce lemon juice
1 ounce Fever Tree Ginger Beer

2 dashes of bitters
3 sprigs fresh rosemary


Start by halving blackberries, add to container with 1 sprig of rosemary. Light and extinguish rosemary* and seal in container, allow blackberries to smoke for 5 minutes.

In a cocktail shaker, add smoked blackberries, maple syrup, lemon juice, and bitters. Thoroughly muddle and then add Wisher and ice. Shake for 15 seconds, double strain into rocks glass with ice. Top cocktail with 1oz ginger beer, garnish with burnt and extinguished rosemary sprig.

*If rosemary is too fresh and will not light, dry out in a 250F oven for 10 minutes.
